Back in the beginning days of computer terminology, there used to be two forms if identification. The first was the Logon. A Logon is a "Moniker", "Screenname", or "Nickname". This later became to be what is now mostly called the "Username". Using the term "Logon" is a way to cling on to the roots of computer terminology and educate users at the same time. The term "Logon" suggests to use an identification other than what is otherwise common knowledge such as a first name, last name, etc.. Its best to use a Logon that those who dont know you wont figure out. This ensures greater security. The 2nd form of identification of course is the "password"
